LPC & LMFT Supervision

Looking for a PLPC or PLMFT Supervisor in New Orleans?  Need a Board-Approved Supervisor to provide the support you need?

As you know, in Louisiana, each supervisor can supervise up to 10 interns simultaneously, and if this page is visible, I have a few openings

Qualifications & Experience

  • Board-Approved LPC & LMFT Supervisor in Louisiana
  • AAMFT Approved Supervisor
  • Associate Professor of Counseling
  • Past-President of LAMFT
  • Thousands of hours supervising students and interns
  • Over 10 years of clinical experience
  • Active, lucrative private practice

Specializations

I’ve worked in almost every clinical setting imaginable (and some you can’t imagine…).  Though I’m proficient in all the regular stuff, I’ve developed a few niches and specialties, including:

  • Counseling families at all ends of the socioeconomic spectrum
  • Counseling couples through loss, divorce, trauma, and infidelity
  • Working with families through custody and visitation problems
  • Helping parents become more effective
  • Understanding and changing family dynamics
  • Teaching family systems theory
  • Working with clients through powerful addictions
  • Consulting with agencies, mental health professionals, teachers, etc

Format & Rate

I meet weekly with supervisees, either individually or in pairs (triadic).  We discuss your cases, review your videos, discuss strategy, deal with your site issues, grow as professionals and colleagues, and evaluate your professional growing edges.  I provide regular feedback, and am available in emergencies.

Fee: $320 paid monthly, for up to 4 hours of clinical supervision.  I also offer case consultation services and/or co-therapy services at $80/hour.
