About Dr. Morris

I am a family therapist to some of New Orleans’ most distinguished families, but moreover, I’m a student of relationships.  A witness.  I’m a careful and confident adviser.  I help people find more satisfaction from their relationships.  I help people decide what they want from their relationships, and then make the changes in ways that don’t hurt so bad. I’ve helped families reduce conflict, reignite intimacy & sex, cope with loss, navigate divorce, parent more effectively, deal with addiction, and manage the stress of life and business.  And I keep it all very private.

Questions about my practice?

The fancy stuff: I have a PhD specializing in Family Therapy from Virginia Tech.  I’m licensed as both a Professional Counselor (LPC) and Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Louisiana, and I have more than a decade of experience in counseling families.  I am a Board approved supervisor to counselors and therapists, and I’m an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.  I am a Professor of Counseling at The University of Holy Cross where I train counselors, study families, read a lot, and generally have a great time doing what I love!  Oh, and last but certainly not least, I’ve been married for over 15 years and am busy raising great kids (I may have to reschedule an appointment to attend a field trip).
